Fleet Management

Vehicle Performance Analysis
Presents vehicle and driver data in the simple “traffic light” format. Data includes: GPS data (position, speed, heading), time (GPS time, vehicle data time), odometer, vehicle registration number, chassis number, driver ID, fuel (drive, idle, PTO), runtime (drive, idle, PTO), over speed, over revs, acceleration behaviour, brake behaviour, brake applications, vehicle weight (from ECU).

Event Reporting
Important events affecting the vehicle are logged and reported on the web portal with data, time and location information – allowing immediate action to be taken if necessary – or post-event analysis.

Reported Warnings
Exceeded distance or time period without service, low tyre pressure (where supported), serious engine problem, high engine coolant temperature, clutch overload, low engine oil pressure, low urea level, low engine coolant level, seatbelt reminder.

Geofence Alarm
Alerts you if a vehicle leaves or enters a specified geographical area. The message is displayed in the Fleet Management browser window and can also be sent to a designated email address.

Maintenance Planning
Create you own maintenance calendar and reminders based on mileage or service dates, to ensure your vehicle is maintained on time. The distance or time to next planned service for each vehicle can be monitored on the web portal.

Positioning and Tracking
The vehicle position is automatically sent at regular time intervals, as well as whenever the ignition is switched on or off, or when drivers change. It is also possible to request the position from the vehicle at any time.

Digital Tachograph Wireless Downloads
Communicator 200 supports the wireless download of both driver card and vehicle tachograph digital data. Note: requires the new generation of digital tachographs, expected to be available in 2009.

Environmental Reporting
Environmental emission reports are generated based on actual operating conditions, including engine characteristics and fuel consumption.
