For our Euro 4 engine range, Scania developed two patented, emission-reducing technologies: Scania EGR and Scania SCR.

This dual approach makes it possible to apply the most appropriate technology for each engine, and each application. In every inline engine, Scania EGR has proven to deliver 100 percent Euro 4 compliance for everything from demanding long-haulage and construction to stop-and-go urban delivery. At high cruising speeds with heavy loads, Scania SCR has further boosted the reputation of the already legendary Scania V8.

The Scania Image Bank is an ongoing digital collection of images related to business areas, in all their diversity. It includes images of trucks, buses and engines, pictures of staff, buildings and events, materials related to research and development, production, components and historical subjects. It's scope is global. The main focus is on our products after 1995.
